Our team are appropriately qualified and trained to deliver the highest standards of care to each and every resident. A continuous staff-training programme is implemented to ensure that these high standards are maintained in line with the latest care practices as laid down in appropriate legislation, Regulations and the National Minimum Standards under the Care Standards Act 2000.

At Holmside, the care and wellbeing of our residents is paramount and we work extremely hard to ensure that we foster an enviroment which is inclusive, personal and safe.

Newly Refurbished Throughout
Holmside has recently been completely remodeled to ensure that our residents live in the most comfortable surroundings.
Elderly & Dementia Care
As well as providing residential care for the elderly, we also offer a fully integrated, dementia friendly environment and our staff are both highly trained and experienced in this area.
Executive en-suite rooms
Our brand new executive en-suite rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. All bedrooms have nurse call systems and can be furnished to your individual preference. Residents can bring with them personal possessions which can be accommodated safely. 32inch TV's are available for each room. Furniture is modern and comfortable to meet our residents requirements and bathrooms have handrails and aids to assist residents.
We Care
Staff will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all our residents with a warm and caring atmosphere, and in so doing will be sensitive to each resident’s ever changing needs. Such needs may be medical, therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social.
We Are A Family
At Holmside we are one big happy family and there are experienced staff on duty within the home 24 hours a day. Nothing is too much trouble for our team and we really do enjoy seeing our residents settle into their new lives with us, making new friends and enjoying all of the services and care we have to offer.
We also encourage regular visits from families and friends and when a visit isn't possible, maintain contact by telephone as we find that this can have a really positive impact on the residents state of mind & overall well-being.
